TAZO, a brand once known only for its quality teas, is now expanding to answer consumer demand for satisfying café-quality beverages. Leading the brand’s new lineup are TAZO Protein Lattes, which include an impressive 20 grams of protein per serving (up to 30g per 10 ounce protein latte when made with 2% milk). The new TAZO Protein Lattes will be available in two flavors: Chai Latte and Matcha Latte, both of which blend into milk to create a creamy, good-for-you latte to fuel your mornings.

Each TAZO Protein Latte can be prepared to enjoy either hot or iced and comes in pouches that include eight serving. Sweetened with 5 grams of sugar per serving, these lattes have just the right amount of sweetness while still remaining a low-sugar option. Added stevia and monk fruit (natural sweeteners) give these lattes a little extra sweetness boost without adding sugar. The brand’s expanding portfolio marks an important shift in the industry, placing a heavy focus on protein-rich options for coffee and tea drinkers.

“Our innovation work at TAZO is driven by formulation science as much as exceptional flavor delivery,” said Alex White, Research & Innovation Director of North America. “These products were developed by carefully balancing ingredient functionality and taste, ensuring that added benefits, like whey protein isolate, integrate seamlessly without compromising on the experience. Our wellness blends were crafted around a feel‑good taste, complemented by Matcha Lattes designed to deliver a true café‑at‑home sensory experience.”

Gins so good you’ll want to drink them neat

To many, the thought of drinking gin neat never even occurs to them. Even if they enjoy the juniper, floral, and botanical aromas and flavors of their favorite gin, they still prefer to mix it with other ingredients to make it more palatable.

But it also shouldn’t surprise you that some people enjoy drinking their gin neat or at least prefer a gin that they could drink neat if they chose to do so. Personally, I am one of those people. I enjoy gin so much that I try my best not to mask its flavors with overpowering ingredients. Sure, I like a good Gin & Tonic from time to time. But it’s definitely going to be heavier on gin than tonic if you know what I mean.

Sagamore Whiskey doubles down on Maryland roots with two new releases
Sagamore Whiskey is dropping two new expressions: one national high-rye bourbon, and one for America's 250th birthday.
Alcohol, Beverage, Liquor

Long before Kentucky bourbon took over the American whiskey conversation, Maryland was distilling quality juice: rye whiskey. The folks at Sagamore Whiskey have spent years trying to bring that legacy back, and this month it's making the case twice.

First off, the Baltimore-based company (which you may remember as Sagamore Spirit) is dropping a wide-release: Sagamore High Rye Straight Bourbon goes national July 1 at an SRP of $50.
