Say hello to the Winter White Ale. The winter seasonal beer from Sam Adams is brewed with Spalt noble hops as well as cinnamon, nutmeg, orange peel, and clove. It comes in at 5.7% ABV and is available now through the end of the year at various retailers.
You can get the beer in 12-packs or 24-packs and it’s also part of the Sam Adams Winter Break Variety Pack. This mashup includes beers like the Cold Brew Coffee Stout, Old Fezziwig, and the Winter Ale. The comforting adjunct ingredients make the Winter Ale a great option for the festive season ahead.
“The holidays are all about celebrating special moments with family and friends,” said Tory Bratt, senior brand manager of Samuel Adams. “We brewed Winter White Ale to truly embrace the warmth of those moments through
spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, and bring together a festive, easy – drinking beer that’s perfect for every seasonal moment.”

Perhaps surprisingly, Sam Adams has not released a seasonal winter beer for 30 years. It’s a nice lighter option in the midst of winter beers that tend to be quite heavy. We see this option as a nice one for after a day on the slopes.
Sam Adams Beer is the flagship brand from Boston Beer Company. It launched back in 1984 in Massachusetts and has long been a significant player in the craft beer movement. The Boston Lager is arguably the most popular release but the brewery is known for all kinds of styles, including history-making beers like the new Sam Adams Utopias.
