The summer beer drops just keep coming. Next up, BrewDog USA, the acclaimed brewery out of Ohio. And it’s a lovely IPA treated to a pair of hop varieties. Oh, and in case you need some context, National IPA Day is August 7th.

Introducing the BrewDog IPA, a 6.3% ABV beer made with Citra and Chinook hops. The beer comes in a 45 IBUs and is crisp and refreshing. While some IPAs tend to go big on the hop variety count, this one keeps things relatively simple.

“This is our first major IPA launch since Elvis Juice and Hazy Jane, and we’ve poured our passion for hops into every can,” shares Eric Franco, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for BrewDog USA. “With BrewDog IPA, we’re inviting drinkers to experience the spirit of IPA in a way that’s bold, balanced, and distinctly BrewDog.”

Part of the campaign involves having fun with the IPA acronym. Think I Pet Alpacas (per the image above) and I Prefer Adventure. The beer was officially unveiled today and can be found in various locations by the can, six-pack, and on draft.

In doing do, fans can not only discover a fun new meaning of IPA, but enter to win a stay at BrewDog’s onsite hotel. The place is home to everything from a brewing campus to showers outfitted with beer taps. Because beer and vacation do go hand in hand.

BewDog USA started in 2017 and in addition to its Ohio headquarters has locations in cities like Atlanta and Denver. The label has played a big role in the craft beer movement, responsible for beloved beers like Elvis Juice IPA.
