Hardly anyone reading this site is going to argue that coffee and booze are two of the greatest creations on this planet. Alone, they give life. Together, though, damn. There’s nothing quite like the beautiful jolt of cold brew coffee combining with the sweet softness that comes from fine spirits. We reached out to three NYC bartenders to offer up their takes on cool coffee cocktails for summer.

Espresso Martini

Method: Shake very hard and single strain into a large coupe glass. Garnish with three coffee beans.

Negroni Coffee Swizzle

Method: Swizzle with crushed ice in a highball glass. Garnish with five coffee beans.

Café Millonario

  • 1oz Coffee infused Bacardi Black Rum
  • 75oz Mozart Dark Chocolate
  • 5oz Tonka infused Maple syrup
  • 1 double shot espresso
  • 6 Dashes Fee Aztec bitters

Method: Shake all hard with ice then double strain into large coupe glass. Garnish with chocolate dusting and three coffee beans.
