If you’re already planning your outfit for an ugly Christmas sweater party, look no further than … The Home Depot? Yes. The home improvement retail chain is getting into the fashion world with an ugly Christmas sweater that’s not ugly, by any means. In one word, the sweater is functional, and that’s perfect for a DIY addict who also wants to impress at your holiday party.

Sara Gorman, the Senior Director of External Affairs at The Home Depot, tells me that the idea started with a simple question: “What would a holiday sweater look like if The Home Depot made one?”

“We paired the fun of a nostalgic holiday sweater with the function of our iconic orange apron, then filled it with tools people use to hang lights, put up garland, and get their homes ready for the season,” Gorman says.

The sweater, stocked with more than $200 but will sell for $29.99 in two limited drops on Oct. 1 and Oct. 15, is part of the brand’s holiday décor launch. The sweater includes Husky’s 6-in-1 screwdriver, 25-foot tape measure, 8-inch standard slip joint pliers, Lumens’ dual-power LED rechargeable headlamp, DEWALT’s 9-inch torpedo level, Command Clear’s outdoor light clips, mechanical pencil, and a $50 peppermint-scented gift card.

“The sweater is a fun way to kick off our holiday decor collection, encouraging customers to start celebrating while they get their homes ready for the holiday season,” Aubrey Horowitz, merchant of decorative holiday at The Home Depot, says. “This year, customers can bring those decorating projects to life with innovative new products like our Grand Duchess SMART trees, which customers can customize right from their phones, alongside lighting and decor for all kinds of spaces.”

The holiday launch also includes the introduction of a limited-edition 2-gallon holiday buckets, which will be available for purchase online on Oct. 1 for $2.98, while supplies last, and in stores mid-October.

Then there’s the gigantic Santas soon to be rolled out. The giant animatronics includes a 6.5 FT Animated LED App Controlled Santa and an 8.5 FT Giant-Sized LED Towering Santa. The holiday decor rolls out in stores nationwide beginning the week of Oct. 5.

“This holiday season, we’re helping our customers turn their biggest holiday ideas into reality, whether they’re building a show-stopping outdoor display or getting their home ready for hosting,” Horowitz adds. “Our 2026 holiday collection brings together the innovation, quality, and value our customers expect from The Home Depot, with products designed to make a big impact at every price point and for every kind of home.”

‘Made in America’: Paul Fredrick celebrates 40 years of style
Accessories, Formal Wear, Tie

There are a handful of brands that you know just by feel. You can get dressed blindfolded and know by the quality of the fabric and the construction of the garment what you are picking up. Paul Fredrick is one of those brands for me. From their shirts to their jackets, Paul Fredrick has always been a dependable go-to whether in my day-to-day or in my dressier moments. They are celebrating that heritage this fall with the release of their new collection, Made in America, in honor of their fortieth anniversary.

To honor our brand’s history, we returned to our roots, crafting garments in American factories. This limited-run collection draws inspiration from the 1920s, when fashion reemerged as a powerful form of self-expression after the First World War. A century later, we are seeing that same appetite for expressive dressing. – Paul Fredrick
