TGIF Shopping: Mark McNairy Teams With Five Four On New Summer Camp-Themed Collab

Just in time for the imminent release of Netflix’s Wet Hot American Summer, Mark McNairy is teaming up with Five Four Club‎ to release an exclusive menswear capsule collection inspired by summer camp.

Described as McNairy’s take on what summer camp would be like… if he actually went, the capsule collection, titled CAMP MCNAIRY, will be available to Five Four Club members starting yesterday, July 8.

“Working with Five Four on this collection was a very collaborative experience. We were able to bounce ideas off of one another and really make a collection that we both think is cool and fresh for Five Four Club members. Every detail from the fabrics, buttons and thread used on the garments has been hand picked by me so what you get is a real McNairy piece,” said designer Mark McNairy.

The nostalgic collection offers a range of essentials including lightweight jackets, button up shirts, graphic tees, casual pants, and fun accessories.

Key pieces from the collection include the Rivington, a multi-colored button down shirt; the Forsyth, a camouflage and polka dot button down; graphic tees with classic Mark McNairy quotes such as ‘Don’t Say I Never Made You Nothing’; and the Worth, a printed swim trunk with a lightning bolt novelty print.

“My favorite item in the Five Four Mark McNairy collection are the Hester camo shorts, which are a reinterpretation of the traditional army style,” says Andres Izquieta, Founder/CEO of Five Four. “They have a polka dot shadow print and a hidden front pocket for maximum utility.”

“That is an unfair question,” McNairy says, tasked with choosing a favorite. “Like asking which of my children I love the most. I am simply an enthusiastic young man with a sixth grade education, who loves all of gods creatures, and all of my creations equally.”

The Mark McNairy capsule collection will be made available exclusively to new Five Four Club members as well as a la carte through Five Four Club’s member-only online store.
