While not the first time Clarks has lent its traditional Wallabees design for a collaboration, its newest partnership brings an undeniable youth and edge to the brand. Partnering with Supreme, the latest collaboration brings Clarks’ iconic shoe into the spotlight again, with three exclusive colorways. While new designs often bring a unique look, this collaborative design keeps all of the aspects of the Wallabee that you know and love. Supreme uses its street-savvy style touch in this collaboration to bring the design to a brand-new audience. A staple in the footwear world, the Wallabee shoe is nothing short of a timeless classic, and the newest collaboration with Supreme now cements the shoe as a street-style worthy footwear option.

Supreme and Clarks deliver a new look for the Wallabee

For this refreshing new collaboration, Clarks and Supreme are taking another look at the Wallabee shoe and giving it three new colorways. The shoe has gotten a sleek upgrade with a stellar leather upper and leather lining. The intricate new material allows this design to have the same appearance as any other Wallabee but with a refined and interesting touch. Like all other Wallabee designs, this collaborative shoe comes with a classic natural crepe sole to provide comfort and a blend of Clarks’ traditional style.  Exclusive to Supreme, the new collaboration comes in three exclusive colors: pink, beige, and grey. These versatile and soft hues are the perfect way to blend the shoe with your everyday wardrobe without a struggle. The Supreme x Clarks Originals Wallabee shoe is available via the Supreme webstore and retails for $198 each.

Craft Nordlite Ultra 2

When it comes to shoes, runners have almost too many choices. There are daily trainers, speed shoes, trail shoes, plated racers, and more. High-end models start around $150, so building up a “quiver” of footwear requires $300, $450, or more. That can make the simple, refreshing act of running an expensive hobby.

However, some manufacturers produce road-to-trail shoes that can handle both roads and trails, as well as everything in between. One such model is the Craft Nordlite Ultra 2, which features a supercritical midsole and a lugged outsole. I tested it on the roads and trails of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley to answer the question: Is this the only running shoe you need? Read on for my take.

While its design might not seem drastically different from other New Balance sneakers, the 992 silhouette has earned its status as one of the most popular in the brand’s lineup. First released in 2006 to commemorate the brand’s 100th anniversary, the 992 gained notoriety as the go-to sneaker for the late Steve Jobs. As part of his uniform, the 992 became a go-to practical shoe for many. While Steve Jobs was keen on the sneaker’s grey shade, the newest release of the sneaker sets out to give this silhouette a moodier feel. Not straying too far from its traditional look, the latest 992 will feature a darker colorway, making it a perfect option for those seeking a comfortable shoe later in the year.
