For Action Bronson, the last couple of years have been marked by a variety of activities and professions. The chef-turned-rapper has plenty of projects up his sleeve that have rightfully caught the eye of everyone. However, it’s been the TV personality’s recent run as New Balance’s favored ambassador and contributor that has truly made him one of the most talked-about figures in the footwear world. With almost two years of collaboration between the two, New Balance and Action Bronson have established a certain rhythm in their partnership, resulting in eye-catching and highly anticipated designs. Now, the pair has finally unveiled the official release date for their next collaborative sneaker, which doesn’t shy away from the statement colorways of its predecessors.

New Balance and Action Bronson announce “Tiger Eye”

At his Baklava Megastore pop-up, Action Bronson shared a first look at the newest New Balance sneaker, “Tiger Eye,” which takes the form of the 992 sneaker. Crafted with an orange mesh upper, the 992 dons a blue mesh tongue that pays homage to Bronson’s favorite team, the New York Knicks. Adorning the uppers are brown suede and nubuck overlays, which combine to create an interesting mixture of texture and color. Bringing in the design is an all-black sole unit and gray heel detail, which function to tone down some of the bolder hues. The message “BAKLAVA” makes an appearance along the lateral heel in a tonal brown. While the shoe has already been offered via a raffle, the “Tiger Eye” 992 sneaker will be officially released on September 26 for a retail price of $250.

Once in a while, a watch brand will remind people that a chronograph can be a serious technical instrument and a completely fun flex at once. That's what Zenith's latest move is, and it's a doozy.
