As part of a special collaboration with Adidas, Liam and Noel Gallagher are releasing two unique versions of the Adidas Spezial sneaker that pay homage to their upbringing. Taking on two different Spezial models, this Adidas collaboration balances the unique touches from the Gallaghers while staying true to the brand’s traditional silhouettes. Offering two subdued and versatile options, these collaborative sneakers aren’t your typical celebrity-branded sneakers. Instead, these sneakers are a lowkey design that seemingly works brilliantly, whether or not you’re an Oasis fan.
Adidas brings out its Oasis spirit with a new double sneaker release
Taking on the Spezial series, Adidas and the Gallagher brothers have unveiled a double release for their collaborative project. The first of the releases involves Liam Gallagher’s version of the Achille Spezial sneaker. The Achille SPZL features a neutral colorway of khaki and light tan suede overlays. A darker brown shade takes over the iconic Three Stripes branding and heel tab. Liam Gallagher’s portrait also makes an appearance via tongue stamps that mark each brother’s specific design.
Noel Gallagher’s sneaker takes the silhouette of the Marathon SPZL sneaker. The design includes a deep blue suede upper, which is contrasted by a light blue hue on the Three Stripes branding and heel tab. This version also features a special embossed tongue, which includes Noel Gallagher’s portrait in another tongue stamp. Stamped branding and gold foil detail are included in both iterations. Both sneakers will be available for purchase via a draw through the Adidas CONFIRMED app starting on August 26 through September 1. Along with the sneakers, a series of Oasis-themed merchandise will be released to help celebrate the brand’s tour.
