Sézane and New Balance unveil their first collaboration with an autumnal flair

First emerging on the scene in 2013, French-based online store Sézane quickly rose in ranks among trendsetters who appreciated the brand’s premium-quality and French-inspired designs. Although only 12 years old, Sézane has already become a household name, thanks in part to its expansion in key locations, such as its recent pop-up opening in Los Angeles. Now, Sézane is taking its French style to the next level thanks to a new partnership with the athletic giant, New Balance. With a reimagined 471, the duo has brought a new take to the archival design, featuring an autumnal color palette and a hint of French practicality. Along with the latest sneakers, the pair has also unveiled a series of apparel items, such as jackets and retro denim, that all seamlessly work together. True to both brands’ style, Sézane and New Balance present the ultimate transitional capsule, brilliantly ushering in a new season.

Sézane and New Balance bring autumn to the 471 sneakers

For Sézane’s version of the New Balance 471, the French brand is bringing a flurry of fall colorways that pay homage to the new season. Featuring sail canvas uppers, the 471 offers an elevated use of texture, accented by brown overlays, a tan eyestay, and a blue sole. A stitched motif adds a retro and pre-used touch to the sneaker, while a denim “N” logo with raw edges continues the vintage aesthetic throughout. While the shoe’s retail price remains unknown, the sneaker and collection are expected to arrive on shelves on October 16 via Sézane’s webstore. Although Sézane and New Balance haven’t collaborated before, this collection’s ease and style would lead one to assume it’s their first collaboration together.
