A Fall InVestment

There can be nothing better for that first chill of fall, than a vest.  They can range from sporty to functional, and you can find the right one for any outfit.  Throw them over a sweater with sport shirt, or pair one with hoodie, or a sport coat.  From country gent to city nomad, for this fall, get well vested.  Here are some of our favorites-

L.L. Bean – This zip-front, fleece-lined, wool plaid vest is a great layering piece on cold days. Throw it over your denim jacket, or pair the plaid with a striped oxford for warmer weather.  Football weekends !

Lexington Clothing – Combine quilted down and leather, and you have this light-weight vest that can make a sweater, that much better.  With the two pockets with snap closures, and a cell phone pocket, you don’t even need to haul a briefcase or man bag.

Slate & Stone –  We are all about a hooded vest  This pairing of hounds tooth wool, in grey and black, along with down-quilted in navy, makes this great for the city, or a day up in the mountains.

Burkman Bros. – This vest has a quilted camo printed poplin exterior with a striped twill interior. With it’s zip front closure, this vest can go anywhere.

Orvis  – Right on the olive trend for fall, this multi-tweed vest adds a layer of warmth and style. With it’s six exterior pockets and one interior pocket, perhaps useful for beers and whiskey for game day.

Filson – The Mackinaw wool plaid vest is great under a jacket or just over a shirt.  Perhaps with your favorite pair of chinos and a denim jacket.  This five pocket vest, just might be your new favorite this, or any, fall.

Even If You Don’t Golf, You’ll Want to Wear This New Fabletics x Malbon Collection
New polos, dresses, trousers, and accessories bring streetwear-inspired style to the fairway.
Fashion, Clothing, Glove

‘Tis the season for beach weekends, cookouts, and glorious rounds of golf. If your wardrobe for the links could use a refresh, Fabletics just launched its second collaboration with Malbon. Inspired by the ocean, the collection features green hues and marine motifs. It’s a his-and-hers collection, with polos and trousers alongside dresses and leggings—garments that look as dapper on the greens as they do in the clubhouse dining room.

The partnership unites two companies with reputations as disruptors in the sports apparel space. Founded in 2017, Malbon has built a loyal following by blending golf apparel with streetwear, fashion, and art. The company has flagship stores in Los Angeles and New York City in addition to a large digital presence. If you follow the PGA Tour, you’ve seen hotshots like Jason Day, Charley Hull, and Sungjae Im sporting Malbon.

Wristwatch, Arm, Body Part

Once in a while, a watch brand will remind people that a chronograph can be a serious technical instrument and a completely fun flex at once. That's what Zenith's latest move is, and it's a doozy.

The Le Locle-based maison has added two new interpretations of its DEFY Extreme: the Ultraviolet and the Lapis Lazuli II.
