Although many still consider the sneaker-loafer trend a passing phase, brands are still jumping onto the fad with plenty of options. The latest brand to join the trend is Crocs, the expert in clog and comfort shoes. With its latest Gallery Shoe release, Crocs references the brand’s archival Tideline Sport, a loafer that was created back in 2012. Revamped with a few sneaker details, the Tideline Sport has evolved into a hybrid design that seamlessly blends with current styles. As Crocs has taken to its traditional silhouettes for an expanded rotation, this sneaker-loafer is yet another push towards a broader lineup. With a softer approach than other brands, this sneaker-loafer is expected to be a must for the colder months.
Crocs reveals its own version of the sneaker-loafer trend

Senior global product manager of collaborations and energy at Crocs, Ryan Forsyth, first teased on social media the first images of the Crocs Gallery Shoe, which sees the hybrid sneaker-loafer in two colorways, Bark and Black Sand. Crafted with hairy suede uppers, the Gallery Shoe features laces and includes a sturdy outdoor-inspired sole structure. Both iterations of the Gallery Shoe showcase the design in a monochromatic color palette, giving the shoe a sleek and versatile look. Set to be released on Crocs’ webstore on September 30 for a retail price of $100, the Gallery Shoe is part of the brand’s experimental collection. A true out-of-the-box style for the brand, there’s no doubt that the Gallery Shoe will garner the same cult following as the rest of Crocs’ footwear lineup.
