Clarks and Sandro are undeniably two staples in heritage brands, each touting the traditional style of their respective countries. Hailing from the UK, Clarks Originals’ minimalist yet elevated touch dons a unique British charm that’s reliable and practical without failing to impress. For their part, Sandro’s French roots clearly shine with impeccable design quality and a premium craftsmanship that’s hard to replicate. Now these two brands have joined forces for a women’s and men’s collaborative collection that brings a new look for two of Clarks’ most iconic silhouettes. While Clarks has recently found plenty of collaborative partners in recent seasons that have elevated their silhouettes, their newest partnership with Sandro offers a unique British-French design touch that’s hard to ignore.

Clarks and Sandro bring British-French relations to the forefront

In their most recent collaborative release, Clarks Originals and Sandro have redefined two of the brand’s most iconic footwear silhouettes with plenty of variations, giving fans of both brands an opportunity to find their best match. For men, this partnership brings a redesigned look for the iconic Wallabee silhouette. Arriving in chocolate pony-hair, cognac leather, or sand suede, these new Wallabee loafers offer a mix of Sandro’s sophisticated look with Clarks’ timeless design. Featuring a natural crepe sole, tonal fobs, waxed laces, and a sleek appearance on all variations, the new Wallabee design is a creative collaboration that’ll easily stand the test of time. Using new premium materials, this contemporary design is perfect for those looking to elevate their favorite everyday shoes. All three of the new Wallabee loafers are now available exclusively through Sandro’s website and are priced at $315 and $340, with the suede option arriving at a later date.

Your underwear is probably gross now: Embrace the refresh
How long should you wear your underwear? An expert gives us insight.
Clothing, Undershirt, Adult

I am on an underwear kick right now. I can't help it. I have been reevaluating my underwear drawer since I had my conversation with David Ehrenberg, the CEO of Pair of Thieves, earlier this week. I mean, how often do men think about their underwear? The truth is, while we don't think about it often (hopefully you are a little bit after reading my last article with David), I have discovered we actually DO think about it in some ways. We just need to change how we think about it. Ladies, go ahead, ask your guy what underwear he is wearing right now. There will be two answers. 1 - "No clue, what did you buy me?" 2 - "My favorites." We're weird about it. We all have at least one pair we wear all the time. It is our favorite pair. Then we have the others, the ones that are just the day-to-day. And finally, we have the ones we never want to wear, but it's a laundry emergency, so we must. In all likelihood, this pair has been with us since Mom bought them for us. That's right, yeeeeeeeears ago.

Fellas, it's gross. I often think about a movie quote from Smokin' Aces, by the always-great Jeremy Piven. "There is not a laundry detergent or dry cleaning product known to man that will get that out. Suffice it to say, some sh*t, don't wash out." There is a moment in time when your underwear is done for, beyond saving. But, when do you know when to give up on old faithful? David and I hashed it out.

Unexpected patterns and substitutions lead the way in Paris
Clothing, Formal Wear, Suit

Tucked back off a small street, Rue de Monceau, in Paris, just a short 8-minute walk from Parc Monceau to the Northeast of the Eiffel Tower, sits a museum many Americans miss on their trips to the City of Love. Musée Nissim de Camondo is home to a wide collection of French art from the 1700s. It is draped in tapestries and adorned with artifacts displaying the beauty of French artistic creativity. This week, it also happened to be home to Dior's Summer Men's Show. These destination shows by the iconic French fashion house, have been home to some of the most pivotal moments in fashion progression. From the "New Look" event a year after the company was formed in 1947, to the "Russian Catwalk" in Moscow in 1959, to this season. What did the attendees of this event experience (other than sweltering heat)? Unexpected changes to classic lines and fabrics that ask the wearer to look to the future.
