In-Vest in Some Security

RFID vest 940
A few years back I opted for an enhanced New York State license, which allowed me to travel to neighboring countries without a passport. This awesome addition was the envy of many of my friends. It also came with a strange metallic envelope, which I rarely used and then eventually lost. Well it turns out that that annoying little envelope was supposed to protect my ID from RFID (Radio Frequency Identification readers). Well that’s just great. But now there is a solution for me – and all the semi-paranoid techies out there. An RFID Blocking Vest by SCOTTeVEST.

SCOTTeVEST has been developing tech-enabled clothing since 2000, and is well known for their many, many pocketed vests, (over ten million pockets sold!) but this new collection of products are intended to protect customers from people using technology to exploit weaknesses in cell phones, credit cards and passports.

This vest is the company’s number one selling travel vest. It has 26 pockets for all your necessities (passports, documents, water, enhanced ID envelope) and it will protect you valuables from high tech skimmers that can steal your personal information and identity. Obviously (and most importantly) – it looks good. The vest also comes in a variety of colors.

Radio-Frequency Identification security has become a growing concern in our world today because we store so much informational on all of our smart devices – so this vest might be something worth considering.

If RFID is something that concerns you – or you’re just in the mood for a cool vest, make sure to check out the collection here.

Watching Netflix series Squid Game on cell phone.

Competition between cell service providers is only getting more fierce by the day. As companies like Cricket, T-Mobile, and Verizon, jockey for clients, digital streaming is now making the race even more complex. While consumers want the best for their money, how are they supposed to discern the most valuable and cost-efficient plans besides trusting that AT&T’s fictional Lily has got their back? That’s where unbiased consumer advocacy firms come in.

At the beginning of September, Navi released its 2022 US Wireless Plan Report, evaluating and ranking the best available unlimited postpaid phone plans from across the wireless industry. After launching its beta version in 2021, Navi’s free service aggregates wireless phone plan data to simplify comparing plan choices for potential purchasers. Their findings? T-Mobile's two top plans, Magenta and Magenta Max, decidedly out-scored their equivalents after adjusting for price. With the announcement that T-Mobile will include free Netflix, free Apple TV, and Paramount Plus with its Magenta plans, that competitive gap is growing potentially even larger.

By offering three services for the price Netflix charges per month, Disney attempted to prove that its streaming offerings were superior to its chief competitor's. Two of those services, Hulu and Disney Plus, offer chiefly fictional content. The third offering, though, is ESPN Plus, which many users may have without even realizing. If you're a sports fan who signed up for the Disney Bundle, or if you subscribe to ESPN Plus separately, you may be interested in the array of documentaries, live sports, and original content that the streaming service has to offer.

Even if you want to watch something on ESPN Plus, it may not be readily apparent to you what the best way to do that is. As it turns out, the streaming service is available on a wide variety of devices.
