Indian Motorcycle just pulled the cover off its 2026 lineup, headlined by the all-new Sport Scout RT. The cruiser now carries a more aggressive stance, factory-fitted locking saddlebags, and several comfort upgrades aimed at riders who want daily practicality without losing that stripped-down Scout attitude. The rest of the Scout range also gets fresh paint and graphics to sharpen the brand’s premium look for the new model year.
The company says it’s building on the 1250 cc Scout platform launched for 2025, but the RT trim takes the familiar shape and adds real-world capability. Think of it as a Scout tuned for riders who like quick weekend trips as much as weekday commutes.
Sport Scout RT
At the center of the 2026 announcement is the Sport Scout RT, a new variation that combines the compact proportions of the Scout with added functionality. Its rigid, color-matched saddlebags offer over 10 gallons of waterproof storage—enough room for a full set of riding gear. The bags lock for security and are shaped to blend seamlessly with the bike’s new quarter fairing and reshaped fenders.
The bike rides on a 19-inch front wheel that gives it a taller, sportier stance. A solo seat with built-in back support keeps long rides comfortable, and the moto-style risers with machined highlights add both visual punch and better ergonomics. The quarter fairing helps reduce wind on the chest while maintaining the Scout’s lean silhouette. It’s powered by the same 1250 cc V-twin found across the current Scout family, slotting neatly into the steel-tube frame that debuted last year. Pricing starts at $16,999 for the Limited + Tech trim, offered in Black Smoke, Chalk, and Sunset Red Metallic.
