Park Avenue has long been an address synonymous with luxury and style. Enter The Marmara, a new 21-story hotel in the Murray Hill section of Manhattan. With 128 rooms and suites, comfort and style are the norm here. Basic rooms utilize the small space perfectly via a Murphy bed. Deluxe rooms and suites include king beds, marble baths and large flatscreen TVs. Opt for a two-bedroom suite, outfitted with a king and queen bed as well as hardwood floors, a bed bench, comfortable sofa and kitchenette. The Paul
The NoMad neighborhood has quickly become a cultural and creative hub thanks to venues such as Eataly and the Museum of Sex. The Paul is the latest opening in the happening hood. Encompassing 21-stories, the hotel features 122 colorful rooms, perfect for the whole family. Bunk Mod rooms are great for kids or if you’re on a budget with friends but the Empire State King offers an expansive bed, a colorful desk and a NYC-centric window treatment. The Riff Downtown
Opened in early 2016, The Riff Downtown is the perfect spot for a hip weekend away or staycation with your significant other. As the sister property to the Chelsea Riff, this Tribeca hotspot makes guests feel as if they are staying in a New York City loft. Exposed brick walls meet pink vintage telephones and houndstooth wallpaper. The Terrace Loft includes a balcony as well as a dog run for your furry friends. With its proximity to so many great museums and dining options, The Riff is set to become a cultural destination in its own right.
The Dazzler Brooklyn
Brooklyn’s meteoric rise as a place to see and be seen means hotel openings are happening at a fever pitch in the borough—four more hotels are slated to open by the summer here. One of the newest and most ambitious is The Dazzler in Downtown Brooklyn. The first foray stateside for the Argentine brand, The Dazzler is flashy addition to the neighborhood. Neon lights blink as you enter the cozy lobby. A stylish biergarten is in the works as is a more formal dining and event space but the rooms are all set and feature patterned walls, modern furnishings and double-sided window panes to keep the noise at bay. If they could only do something about the subway rumbling underneath, it would be a bonafide hit.
