Our 2015 Dog Holiday Gift Guide

It’s not the holidays without a canine gift guide, is it? While we lose sleep over what to get mom, pop and partners, pups are always a joy to buy for. Why? Because they love anything we buy them, most notably the box and paper it comes in.

We have combed through copious canine products to offer up the ones that we think are, well, top dawg.

Outward Hound Life Jacket

Who doesn’t like taking their buddy out for a paddle board on the boat or just for a casual river dip? A life jacket is always a good idea for breeds that aren’t that adept at swimming and even for those that are in case they get tossed.

Outward Hound Backpacks

Many breeds enjoy being put to work so why not get them their own little backpack to carry their water and food. Less work for you and more fun for them!

GPS Dog Collar

We lost our pup at a recent honey harvest and spent most of the afternoon in a John Deere Gator in search of him. It surely would have been nice to have this handy GPS collar to simply track him down without the stress.

Soggy Doggy Super Shammy

Don’t you love that perpetual mud hole in your local dog park after it rains? Keep one of these close at hand to dry them off before jumping into the car or rolling on your nice, clean carpet. It even has hand pockets for better grip.

Harry Barker Uncle Sam Toy

We are big fans of Harry Barker, and their toys certainly stand out from the rest. As soon as we rescued our second pup, this ended up being the favorite toy for him and our other Scottie. They play tug of war and the victor squeaks it to their hearts content.

Earth Dog Hemp Collar

Y’all know we are big tree huggers over here so these hemp collars make us happy. They are also hypoallergenic and get softer with wear. They are made in the USA and Earth Dogs donates 10% of their profits to Kody’s Fund that helps spay and neuter programs.

Ollie B. Biscuits

Does your pal suffer from sensitive digestion? These biscuits are perfect for them, are 100% gluten free, and contain no wheat, corn, soy, preservatives or fillers. Hand made in Savannah, Georgia, these are great treats, even if your dog isn’t sensitive. It will still chow down on these little nuggets of deliciousness.

Blankets From Emma

Blankets From Emma

It’s the season of travel and all of our pups need a quality blanket to a) wrap up in b) lay on and keep our cars and sofas clean. This brand new line of blankets are hand-sewn in the USA with fleece made in Massachusetts. They are super cozy and can be easily washed. Embroidery is available too. Added bonus: For every five blankets sold, the company gives one to a pet rescue organization or shelter.
