Rad Collab: Sunpocket X ALIFE’s Foldable Frames

Written by Kristian Laliberte Posted on August 5, 2014

What happens when a cult sunglasses brand collaborates with perhaps the world’s coolest sneaker boutique? A seriously rad pair of shades, obviously. The fresh team-up between Sunpocket and ALIFE bears testament to that, with a limited-edition collection of three designs based on the Sunpocket Kauai frame, a ’70s-style silhouette influenced by the pristine Hawaiian island of Kauai. Of course, ALIFE, the NYC-based lifestyle co., put its’ own spin on these mens sunglasses, bringing them far beyond the Pacific archipelago.

These guys are clutch for jet-setters and sporty types, being foldable and all, but they don’t skimp on quality, either: The partnership keeps Sunpocket’s crazy lightweight grilamid plastic and 100% UV protective lenses, crafted from unbreakable polycarbonate. Options include a stand-out white pair with orange mirror lenses (not for shy dudes), a wear-anywhere matte black, and, our personal favorite, a tiger stripe pattern that packs a wild punch. Just the fact that we’re adding these to our shopping basket proves that summer’s far from over…right?
